The process of election of the 22-member new executive including the president and general secretary of the Civil Court Central Bar Association has begun. On Friday, General Secretary Hrishikesh Singh published the voter list of 1038 advocates. Election excitement has increased in the court premises as soon as the election is announced.
General Secretary Rishikesh Singh said that objections have been sought on the voter list till December 5. If someone's name has been left out in the voter list or someone's name has been marked wrongly, then he should give a written objection to the office. He informed that a general body meeting has been called on December 6, in which the details of income and expenditure will be presented.
On the other hand, after the publication of the voter list of the new executive, potential candidates started contacting the court premises. Looking at the possible candidates, Lalji Pandey and Shamshul Hasan are likely to contest for the post of President. On the other hand, Ashok Kumar Ashk, Munnilal and Yogesh Kumar Gupta are likely to contest for the post of Senior Vice President.
Former General Secretary Haridwar Rai, Pradeep Kumar Singh and Rajesh Kumar Singh Raj are likely to contest for the post of General Secretary. Sunit Kumar Srivastava is likely to contest for the post of Ordinary Vice President and Neeraj Singh and Lallan Bhardwaj for the post of Joint Minister. After the publication of the voter list, all the potential candidates were seen contacting the voters in the court premises.
