The exercise of the administration has intensified for the widening of Ghazipur Tiraha of the city. On Wednesday, the campaign was conducted under the leadership of City Magistrate Nitish Kumar Singh and CO CT Dhananjay Mishra. Shops and trees, electric transformers and poles located around and on the sides of the intersection were removed.

In the afternoon, the police-administration reached Ghazipur Tiraha with JCB. Seeing the team, the shopkeepers on the footpath started packing their goods. Along with removing the goods kept on the track from everyone, the police got the tree on the side removed from the machine. Employees of the Electricity Department were also involved in the campaign which lasted for about two hours.
The City Magistrate said that maximum number of vehicles travel on Ghazipur Tirahe in the district. All the vehicles passing from Varanasi to Gorakhpur pass through here. From Kachari Gate to Fatima Tirahe, there are queues of street vendors and passenger vehicles on both sides of the highway. From morning till evening this whole area remains in jam.
To get rid of this, now the intersection will be further expanded. With the help of the municipality and the electricity department, the pole on the side of the road will be pushed back. Another place will be made by the administration for street vendors. Told that the intersection will be made three times wider than before, so that the traffic can be smooth. Told that after counting the poles, the electricity department will also start the work of replacing them in a day or two.
